Bagheera kiplingi
es una especie de araña de América Central, considerado el primer lugar entre las 40 000 especies de arañas en el mundo que comen plantas, prácticamente plantas
El nombre del género deriva de Bagheera, la pantera negro del libro de la selva de Rudyard Kipling, con el nombre de la especie en honor Kipling sí mismo.
Otros géneros salticid con los nombres de los personajes de Kipling son Akela, Messua y Nagaina.
Los cuatro fueron nombrados por George y Peckham Elizabeth en 1896.
